Maria Dimancheva (she/her)
Maria is a Health Innovation Associate at EpiSign, developing diagnostic technologies for rare disorders, cancers, and neurodevelopmental conditions. She holds a master’s degree in Health Information Science from the University of Western Ontario, where her work focused on evidence-informed, person-centered governance and the implementation of technologies to improve healthcare and social service delivery.
Maria holds a degree in Biomedical Science and Health Policy from the University of Ottawa and serves as the Coordinator of the Aplastic Anemia & Myelodysplasia Association of Canada, leading patient advocacy for individuals with rare blood cancers. In addition to her professional work, she is an avid volunteer with the Canadian Blood Services and STEM Fellowship.
Guided by a deep personal commitment to person-centered services and compassionate care, Maria joined Humana’s Board of Directors to help advance evidence-based strategies that strengthen community supports for mental health and promote inclusive, supported living for individuals and families. She is passionate about ensuring that social services in London- Middlesex evolve to meet the needs of the community’s most vulnerable populations.
