Education Scholarships

Humana Community Services is pleased to provide financial scholarship opportunities for current and former participants of Humana and its legacy agencies, (Anago, WAYS Mental Health Support and Western Area Youth Services). We invite you to review the requirements of each scholarship to determine your eligibility and to apply for funding to support your learning.

Please connect with your support worker or contact us if you require assistance with the application process. Each scholarship is administered separately and will require a separate application.

  • Financial scholarships for post-secondary education are available for current and former participants of Humana Community Services and its legacy agencies.

    The scholarship program was initiated by the Board of Directors in 1996 and is funded through donations made in support of education.

    Applications are accepted in August with funds distributed in September of each year.

  • Hardy Geddes Foundation offers financial assistance to current and former participants of Humana Community Services and its legacy agencies.

    Hardy Geddes Foundation is a registered charity governed by a board of directors operating independently from Humana.

    Applications are due June 9, 2023.

  • Humana’s donor-funded bursary supports current and former participants of Humana and its legacy agencies who are studying at Fanshawe College.

    Please visit their website for complete details and speak with the Financial Services department to be considered for this award. Proof of current or past involvement with Humana will be required.
